Maguire welcome success of Strandhill Moments Video as it is shortlisted for Marketing Award

The Irish Content Marketing Awards have recognised the success of Strandhill Moments promotional video, having short-listed the video under its Best Content Marketing Aware – Travel Category.

Cllr Maguire has welcomed this achievement, “I would like to congratulate all involved in this project, I’m delighted that their hard work is being industry recognised. A team of local creative professionals were commissioned to work on the campaign. The videographer was Peter Clyne, his artistic vision was complemented by a very successful marketing campaign devised by Denise Rushe and Aoife Porter. The video has been viewed more than 160,000 times and has had a social media reach of in excess of 400,000. All have been ably assisted by Alan Mulrooney’s involvement to ensure that the Strandhill Moments video has been the success it is.”

“This video was created from funding I secured through the Town and Village Renewal Scheme. It is a great example of local communities combining with the Local Government initiative, working together to promote their locality to a broader audience.”

Cllr Maguire continued, “The promotion of this video on social media together with its use at the Discovery Centre at Ireland West airport, shows how we can use the talents in our locality to provide visitors with an unparalleled demonstration of what the West of Ireland can offer.”

The award ceremony takes place on Thursday 26th September in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin.
